Colton just LOVES Thomas the train. Lisa has been so sweet to give us some of Josh's old trains. He just cannot get enough of them. So, I guess that means we are having a Thomas themed party this year. I can't believe my little man will be 2 in less than 30 days....wow! Here is a little of his "Thomas Love".

Funday Monday
Memorial Day was suppose to be a long day of swimming, BBQ, and fun, but our plans were changed a little. My poor dad hurt his back and was in and out of doctor's offices for a few days, until they admitted him on Sunday. They did an MRI, and tried to do their best to get him comfortable. He was discharged Monday around 4pm, and had the family over by 5pm. He is such a trooper. Even when in pain, he still wants everyone over and together. So, we did a little swimming, ate a little crawfish, and remembered those that are the reason we celebrate.

We tried this goofy swimming device on Colton....Hey, whatever works!

Rub A Dub In Granmother's Tub
After the family left Saturday night, Kevin and Alisha went to mudbug, so we decided to give the kids a bath before I left. Colton and Alyssa started out, then Raelee saw they were having TOO much fun, so she joined them! They were laughing and having such a good time.
"What do you have down there?"

My Little Girl's Big Day
Friday was a very bitter-sweet day for me. Raelee had her K-4 graduation. My little girl is moving on to Kindergarten this fall! She was so excited, but very said that Mrs.Becca would not be joining her on that journey. We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful place for her to go through mothers-day-out, all the way through pre-k. If Raelee loves her other teachers the way she loves Ms.Becca, we have it made. We will miss it terribly, but look forward to her growth in Kindergarten. It's hard to imagine that 13 years from now, my little girl will be a young lady graduating from high school. (at least we all hope and pray!)

Proudly making her entrance
They had a wonderful ceremony with cute songs, and then each came up to receive their diploma. Afterwards was a reception complete with a spacewalk.Posted by Christi Johnson at Monday, May 25, 2009 1 comments

Party At Jill's
I took Raelee to a birthday party at Jill's Gymnastics Saturday. ( I know...today is Thursday....but I'm just getting them up!) She had so much fun. So, of course, now she wants to take gymnastics. As, most of you know, Raelee is not the most graceful little angel, so we may just sleep on this one for a while. Lordy Lordy, let's just get enrolled in Kindergarten first : )
