More Cheers And Pampering

This weekend was actually pretty laid back. Friday night, Brad was at the station, so the kids and I went to Trejos with Mom and Dad. Raelee stayed and spent the night, so it was just me and Colt man. He started not feeling well, so Saturday morning Mom and I traded off. She kept Colt while I took Raelee to her basketball game to cheer. The girls did a great job. I am just so proud of all of them.DSC05418DSC05420 Raelee & JenniDSC05421 Raelee & Taylor

After the game, Raelee went home with Grancee and the girls to spend the night. It was such a beautiful, warm day.

Sunday, was a different story. Black skies and RAIN. I took Raelee to a Spa Birthday Party for her friend, Katie. The girls had manis and pedis and had a great time.DSC05422DSC05426 DSC05428 DSC05429 DSC05430 The girls dancing to JUST DANCE on Wii…it was soooo cute!DSC05433 DSC05434 Happy Birthday Katie!

Colton is getting better. He is just running a slight temp and has a little cough, but nothing else. He is not even acting sick AT ALL. I gave him children’s Advil, and you would have thought I gave him speed. He was running around like a mad man. Oh well, better that than seeing him laying around miserable : )

Just Colton

I know that most of my post are usually about Raelee. She is just at that age where she is involved in many things, and has school activities. It’s not that I never do things with Colton….because TRUST me….he is at my side all day. He is just not doing activities yet. (that will change this fall though…he is starting tball!)

I just wanted to do a post about my favorite 3yr old, and how he makes my heart melt. Those big brown eyes, long lashes, and pouty lips will just about get him anything. He is my little love bug, and never passes up a chance to cuddle with mommy. Don’t get me wrong, he is definitely your typical 3yr old boy and I want to ring his neck sometimes….but he wouldn’t be normal if he wasn’t. He LOVES trains (always has one with him), Toy Story, his blue blankie, and chocolate milk! He is a home body like his daddy, and will tell you in a heart beat that he is ready to go HOOOOME and to his OWN bed. I love this little guy with all my heart, and I cherish each day that we spend alone together when sissy is at school and daddy is at work. He will come to me several times a day just to say, “I love you mommy”. Sometimes, I use to wonder what he had done….but then I realized, that it was just my sweet baby making sure I knew it. He is very funny, and loves telling jokes and playing pranks. His giggle and sweet smile crack me up!

I love you my sweet Colton, and I am proud to be your mommy. Please quit growing so fast. I want to enjoy these cuddles for a lot longer : )DSC05414DSC05412 DSC05411 DSC05401 DSC05389

Private Party

Raelee’s best friend, Jenni, was very sick last weekend during Raelee’s birthday party, so she came home with us after the game today for their own little private party. We picked up pizza and the girls ate on the princess plates and used the plastic wine glasses from the party. They were going to do manis and pedis, but decided to just play with their AG dolls instead since we didn’t have very long. Jenni got Raelee a cute little cheerleader set for her doll : )DSC05381DSC05382

Annie AND A Pulled Tooth

I took Raelee to see Annie, the musical, along with Aunt Alisha, Alyssa, Grandmother, Mimi, Mamaw, Aunt Peggy and Ms. Margie. Raelee has had a loose tooth on the front, top forever…and it was driving me nuts. Brad and I both tried to pull it before we left, but it was causing a melt down, so I left it alone. She got dressed in her matching outfit with her doll, Mackenzie, and we headed out.

DSC05376 DSC05372 DSC05375During intermission, Aunt Alisha took the girls to the bathroom, and convinced Raelee to let her pull her tooth. Yay for Aunt Alisha pulling it and for buying her a cute little “Sandy” puppy!DSC05377   DSC05380 After the show, Pawpaw, Uncle Kevin and Dylan met us at IHOP for a late breakfast : )

Happy Birthday Brad!

Happy Birthday to our husband, father, friend and hero! We love you so much and are so thankful for everything you do, sacrifice and miss to provide for our family. So thankful for a man that loves me unconditionally and a daddy that makes our kids feel so special and makes their faces light up like fireworks when he walks in door.

DSC05367 Brad came home with a football trophy. He won his Fantasty Football League. Not too shabby of a day : )

That evening we went to a nice dinner at his favorite place, Copeland’s, with his parents.

Pinkalicious Spa Party

Raelee loves all the Pinkalicious books, and was really wanting a Spa Party, SOOOO…..we just combined the two! I found some really cute things to use as decor and party favors since all the Valentine stuff is out. I had a lot more envisioned in my head, but it snuck up on me with all the craziness (sickness, weather, kids being out of school  etc..), but it was still precious and the girls loved it. We had 11 excited girls, which makes for crazy fun! The girls got manis, a spa foot massage, pedis, makeup and tattoos. Not to mention, they were all in PINK!

Wasn’t the greatest, but Raelee loved it : ) DSC05350DSC05353 DSC05360 singing their hearts out

Born to be a Diva and a Princess!

Thank you Mom, Mimi, Alisha, Mrs. Pam, Brook and Sidney….I’ve couldn’t have done it without you : )

Week 2 Of Upward

We had our squad pictures this morning. Of course it was a cold, rainy, yucky mess….but these girls still looked great! We got done a little early, so they had fun getting “pepped” up before the game.
