Many Faces Of Colton

Trying to get a still picture of Colton is like......well, I have no words for it! I was trying to take a cute pic of him for a baby contest. Not to mention, we are still in the rent house with our boxes everywhere, so I was trying to keep him still in one spot. I think I was more focused on trying not to capture junk and tacky wall paper! Here is the response I got : )
I just heart this little boy from his luscious brown hair to his fat little toes : )

Blue Diamonds

Raelee is doing cheerleading for the first time through UPWARD. It is a christian league with kids from all over. We are currently cheering for basketball. I am coaching the squad, with the help of Mrs. Toni, and we are called the Blue Diamonds. Raelee is having a blast! Here are some pics of my sweet girls : )

A Party For A Princess

We had Raelee's 6th birthday party at La.Cheernastics. It's a big cheerleading gym where they can just run, play, and have a great time. She had all of her sweet little friends and cousins there, and they had a blast. Thank you everyone for making her Princess Party so special : )

After the party, we came home to do her "21 year candle". Each year we burn it down to another year. Raelee asked me, "what happens when it gets to 21?" I told her, "YOU MOVE OUT!" She didn't think it was very funny : (

Happy Birthday baby girl. I hope it was wonderful and you will remember it always.

Happy Birthday Raelee and Mimi : )

My sweet girl turned 6 years old! I can not believe it has been that long since I first held that precious baby in my arms, smelled that yummy baby smell, felt her soft, sweet skin, and fell in love with her in an instant. These last 6 years have been some of the most amazing and rewarding years of my life and I can't wait for many more to come. I love you baby girl : ) Birthday hat at school and special doughnut birthday treats! Also, the day after Raelee, we celebrate Mimi's birthday. We had a special "girls only" birthday dinner at Copeland's Saturday night for Mimi and Raelee. It was fun to get the girls together to celebrate the oldest and youngest of 4 generations.

Some Of The New Stuff

Here are just SOME of the things the kids have been doing with their Christmas stuff.

Raelee could not wait to try out her "Big Top Cupcake" maker. I must say, we did a pretty good job....and it was yummy too!
Colton LOVES his new train table. I could probably go to the store, and he would never know I was gone....LOL

And last, but not least, we FINALLY got Raelee's new bed and bedding set up, that she got for Christmas. This is what her "new room" in the new house will be done in. She is so excited. She said it made her feel like a princess. Awww, and THAT makes mommy feel like a queen : )

Welcome 2010

This year, mom and dad watched Raelee, Colton, and Alyssa, so that us "adults" could go enjoy a nice meal for New Years Eve. We had dinner at Copeland's with Kevin, Alisha, Lisa and Randall. We got done early, so we decided to go listen to a band that some friends of ours play in, at El Dorado. We showed our age by leaving before midnight, and made it home before the ball dropped! It was a nice evening out with some great company. Grandmother, PawPaw, and the kids had a dance party and watched fireworks. PawPaw fed them ice cream and had them chanting.."PawPaw is the king, he gives us ice cream!" I think a fun night was had by all : )

2009 was a great year, through the good, bad and the ugly. Here are just a few highlights that come to mind about the past year:

Raelee played Soccer and LOVED it

Brad made Driver on the Fire Department

I had one of my best years in Real Estate to date

Raelee had to be admitted to the hospital for 24hrs for the Rotavirus

Colton has his tonsils and adenoids taken out, and became a whole new child

Raelee started Kindergarten and has the best teacher. She LOVES it

Colton started Mothers-Day-Out and loves his teachers too

We sold our house, moved into a rent house, and are in the middle of construction on our new one in St. Charles Place

We spent alot of time with family and friends this year, and can not wait to spend even more in 2010.

We made some new friends, and rekindled with some old ones

Those are just few...I would be here all night telling you all my favorite memories. We have been so blessed with everything this past year, and thank everyone that helped make it possible. My parents are such a huge help, and I couldn't do the things I do without you. I am so proud of my kids and everything they are growing up to be. May all of you continued to be blessed in 2010!
