Sci-Port With Friends

We decided to take advantage of the day off, and head to Sci-Port with some friends. We met the the Bryge and Randolph families there, and had a great time. The kids were excited to see each other, after being out of school a whole week!

Johnson Family Christmas

Since Brad was at the fire station and a few of us had been sick, we had Christmas at the Johnson’s a couple days late. The kids were so excited to finally get over there after patiently waiting all day for daddy to get off….lol

Merry Christmas To Me!

I am coming to you live from my brand new laptop that Brad bought me for Christmas. It came a few days late because of the winter storms. I’m so excited, and hope this will encourage me to keep up with my blogging! : )

Christmas Morning

Well, the meds I got definitely kicked in and I felt much better by Christmas morning. I was very weak, but had not ran fever for 48hrs…so that was good. Christmas Eve the kids sprinkled their reindeer food, made cookies for Santa and Henry the Elf, then got on their matching pjs and watched Christmas shows by the fire. Thank goodness they were anxious to go to bed, because so was mommy. They woke up about 7am and the look on their faces were priceless! I love the first glance of excitement and amazing joy. Raelee really wanted a doll that looked like her, and Colton wanted the Misty Island Shake Shake Bridge from Thomas the Train. When they saw them, they were so surprised! YAY!!!!! Raelee also got a Pinkalicious bike and Colton got a Leapster with games….amongst several other things : )DSC05140 sprinkling reindeer food so the reindeer can find our house : )

Hagedorn Family Christmas

After we played with all the new toys for a while, we headed over to Grandmother and Pawpaw’s for Christmas and lunch. Dad made his famous ribs, which were perfect. I was so glad to finally have an appetite! Mom and Dad had taken us on our Great Wolf Lodge vacation, so we were NOT expecting to be opening presents. They just can not help themselves : )  The kids had a blast and loved everything they got!

We had a fabulous day, and it was nice to just come home, cuddle up in their new sleeping bags (thank you Burrows) and watch Toy Story 3 (thank you Aunt Alisha & Uncle Kevin). I am so blessed with such an amazing family and friends. I am one lucky girl. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas…..I know I did : )

Hit With The Flu Bug

Brad and I have both been sick all week since the kids have been out of school. I finally went to Velocity and….HELLO…I have the flu! Are you kidding me? I am the mommy who is never sick, and I end up having the flu the week of Christmas. All I can say is, good thing I do my Christmas shopping on Black Friday. They gave me a steroid shot and lots of other meds, and hopefully I will be good to go just in time for Christmas. Until then, it’s potato soup and Gatorade for now : (

Johnson Annual Christmas Party

Tonight Brad’s parents had their Johnson Annual Christmas Party. This year was just family. I got to enjoy the evening getting lots of good snuggles from little Miss Caroline (the newest of the Johnson cousins). Brad made his wonderful shrimp fettuccini and we had a nice time just visiting with everyone : )

ERBC Christmas Party

Colton has his Christmas party at school today. Mom and I ran around and got all of our last minute shopping done, then headed over to joined the fun. They made some crafts, decorated a cookie, made reindeer food, and had a book exchange. I can’t believe my little man is growing up so fast. I love the fact that he loves his mommy unconditionally and “I make his heart smile” : )
