The Friday before the "4th", I took the kids swimming at mom and dad's . I got a little of play time with Raelee while Colton took a nap, and Lisa and Josh joined us. Pam and Brook stopped by to catch a little sunshine too.

Relaxin AGAIN....but this time, with a popsicleThen that evening, we headed up to Ellerbe Baptist Church for a "July 4th" celebration. They had festivities going on all evening, but it was soooo hot, we just showed up for the fireworks. The kids were super excited.
Colton loved it for about the first 2 mins....then he decided he would much rather be asleep.
It was a great relaxing day, celebrating our freedom!
