Happy Birthday Little Brudder

Today was my “little” brother’s 29th birthday. It was also Labor Day, so we had a big crawfish boil/pool party. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family, and get to spend such fun times poolside : )

Pawpaw’s Little Helper

Colton LOVES to help Pawpaw. If he sees him get a tool out…there he goes right behind him. Today dad was pulling up Sago plants, so Colton made sure he just supervised. They were hot, so decided to take a dip in the pool : )

The Last Hoorah

Today was the end of the year Kindergarten party. They had a jumpy, bubbles, chalk, crafts, water games, a parachute, and nachos. Mrs.Burton made some really cute keepsakes for them (and the mommies) and had a special slide show from the whole year. The kids had an absolute blast! The Girls : )

They were laughing SO hard! So long Kindergarten….Here we come 1st Grade!

Graduation Day

This day snuck up on me WAY to fast! I was so choked up all morning on the way to drop Raelee off at school. I can’t believe I was just dropping her off for her first day, and today she is graduating Kindergarten. I feel like I will blink and she will be graduating high school. She has grown up so fast right before my eyes. It is amazing the sweet friends she has made, and the love she has for her precious teacher. We couldn’t have asked for a better year. Her graduation ceremony was so sweet. She was such a little lady singing all the songs, and the cutest little motions. Of course they played a slide show and made all of the parents boo hoo!

Raelee, words can not tell you how incredibly proud we are. You walked in the first day so brave, and never looked back. You made many new friends, and some very special memories. You are becoming such a little lady with such love for life. We look forward to seeing all the great things you do. WE LOVE YOU!

Fun With The Cousins

Teresa and Harlan came in town for Papaw’s party, and were here for a couple of days, so they came over mom and dad’s for some fun in the sun. Colton and Harlan had so much fun playing together. We miss these cousins sooo much, and hope to get them back here one day ; ) Roxie is the lifeguard. She watches EVERYTHING the kids do and make sure they’re ok. Double Fisted. Colton thinks he has to have a popsicle the whole time he is in the pool.

Happy 80th Birthday Papaw

We had a surprise party for my Papaw (my dad’s dad) at Fertitta’s. You can’t go wrong with their famous muffy, mint tea, bread and pastas. Add great friends and family, and you have a fabulous night! Family came in from San Marcos and Nashville. It was so good to see everyone, and the cousins had a blast playing. Happy 8oth Papaw! Not many people would believe you were 80yrs old if they saw you swim those laps in the pool, and play all those rounds of golf. Hope you had a wonderful night : ) The fabulous five!
