We had a fun filled Mardi Gras weekend. Saturday, Raelee and I met her friend, Jenni, and her family for the Krewe of Gemini Parade. We went early and parked by Sci-Port, and the girls were able to look at all of the floats. Then we took them to Sci-Port to play for a while, and get a snack. They had so much fun at the parade. They caught so many goodies, and had the “throw me something Mister” down pat. They even made the Shreveport Times paper the next day!
On Sunday, Lisa and I took Raelee and Josh to the Highland Parade. This was our first year, and it was so much fun. The kids caught tons of stuff including, beads, stuffed animals, toys, candy, cups and moonpies! They wiggled and danced and had a great time : )
