Build-A-Bear Party

Raelee was invited to her friend, Karaline’s, birthday party at Build-A-Bear. It has been a rainy, cold mess…but, this was a party she DID NOT want to miss. She was so excited! We went with Jenni, Janie, and Mrs. Toni, and headed down for some girl’s fun. The girls got to pick out anything for $16. Raelee decided to have a melt down, because of course, she wanted the $18 horse. Couldn’t I have just given her the $2? Absolutely….but since she embarrassed to poop out of me, she got a $14 bunny and a pair a bows! They ended up having a fantastic time. After stuffing their new friends, they headed down to Stone Cold Creamery in the “stone freezing wet cold”! They had ice cream, and opened gifts. I am so glad that Raelee has made such sweet friends this year :)

Mardi Gras Madness

We had a fun filled Mardi Gras weekend. Saturday, Raelee and I met her friend, Jenni, and her family for the Krewe of Gemini Parade. We went early and parked by Sci-Port, and the girls were able to look at all of the floats. Then we took them to Sci-Port to play for a while, and get a snack. They had so much fun at the parade. They caught so many goodies, and had the “throw me something Mister” down pat. They even made the Shreveport Times paper the next day! On Sunday, Lisa and I took Raelee and Josh to the Highland Parade. This was our first year, and it was so much fun. The kids caught tons of stuff including, beads, stuffed animals, toys, candy, cups and moonpies! They wiggled and danced and had a great time : ) Shake it….Shake it

Snow Day

  The kids were super excited to wake up to snow, and have a SNOW DAY! We had a blast in our rain boots making a snowman, snow angels, and throwing snow balls. It was so beautiful and it’s something we just don’t get everyday in the South. I’m so thankful for these special, fun, sweet memories : )

Way To Geaux Saints!

We had a fun Super Bowl Day at both of the Grandparent’s houses. First we went to Grandmother and Pawpaw’s until half time, then we headed over to Grancee and Pappy’s to finish out with a win. Congrats to the Saints….the Super Bowl Champs!
