Grapevine Christmas Vacation – Day 2

The kids woke up ready to head to the pool….and that’s just what we did. I think the “grown” men actually had more fun.DSC05006 DSC05007 DSC05008 DSC05010  Big winners!

Next, some of our cousins from the area stopped by to say hello. We went to dinner, then the older kids played MaqiQuest that night. The littles were slap worn out….so were there mommies.

Grapevine Christmas Vacation – Day 1

Mom and Dad gave the kids, grandkids, and mimi a trip to Great Wolf Lodge for part of our Christmas. The kids were super excited and have been looking forward to it for weeks. Before we checked in at Great Wolf, we headed to the Gaylord Hotel to see ICE! It was Charlie Brown theme this year and simply amazing. The whole hotel is just beautiful, and the kids had so much fun looking at all the Christmas decor…especially the trains!DSC04905 DSC04906 DSC04909 DSC04910 DSC04919 DSC04921 DSC04922DSC04926DSC04932 Everything was totally made out of ice…and YES…it was COLD!

Pinkalicious

Mom, Alisha and I took Raelee and Alyssa to see Pinkalicious the Musical. We started off at the cupcake party with pink cupcakes by Buttercups. They read the girls the story and taught them the dance in the musical. It was cute and the girls had a great time.DSC04887 DSC04890 DSC04893 DSC04896 DSC04898 DSC04901

The Stocking Were Hung

It’s been a rough week, but the look on the babies faces when you put the Christmas decorations out, just seem to make things better. I have 3 trees this year, then Raelee has as small one in her room. Here is what some of the Johnson house looks like right now. Hopefully we will get the outside done next : )

DSC04860 The “Kids” tree. This tree has all the ornaments the kids make and our family ornament that Grandmother and Pawpaw get us each year. We have one since the first year Brad and I were married.DSC04866
