Raelee and I had SO much fun on our campout! She could not believe that I stayed at the same place when I was a little girl. It was a quick, 2 day trip….but we crammed a ton in. We were exhausted by the time we got home. Here are some of the fun things we enjoyed:
I hope Raelee had just half as much fun as I did. I can’t wait to share many more of these special memories with her….memories that will last a life time : )

My baby boy went on his first field trip today to the fire station down the street from his school. Those poor fireman for having to entertain all of those 3 – 5 yr olds! They really did great though. The guys let them climb all over the truck and ambulance, see where they sleep, and shoot water out of the hose. They even gave them a goody bag to take home. Funny thing is….Colton will not step foot in Brad’s station. He is terrified….but he jumped right out of the car with his buddies, and hopped right on the truck! LOL
Raelee’s Daisy Troop planted a garden today at her Girl Scout meeting. It was a beautiful day, and the girls had a blast. After they finished, they went on a quick “nature walk”, in which they loved.
These kids are playing their hearts out in the heat. It is H-O-T! I am so proud of my little soccer star : )
We went to Grandmother and Pawpaw’s neighborhood for their National Night Out party. Good food, music, face painting and LOTS of chalk to draw with. Raelee loved listening to the live band, and Colton loved the chocolate chip cookies ; )
I am so excited that Raelee has decided to be in Girl Scouts. I have some of the most wonderful memories from going camping and spending time with my mom. She had her pinning ceremony tonight, and she looked so cute. I can’t believe how much she has grown. We go on our first “Mom & Me” Camp out in a couple weeks and I can’t wait! Just some one on one time with my baby girl : )
Raelee had her 3rd soccer game today. Both sets of Grandparents were there to cheer her on. It is so incredibly HOT, but she had a fantastic game, and played her heart out!
Colton and I had a special “date night” tonight. We went to the Harvest Hoedown at Ellerbe (his preschool) that was just for babies- preK. It was so cute to see him with his little buddies. They had several cute crafts to make, a hayride, and food. He had so much fun, and I enjoyed the wonderful alone time with my lil man. I’m going to enjoy him wanting to have fun with his mommy, while I still can ; )
