Kite Day

Raelee was so excited about Kite Day at school, but even MORE excited that DADDY was going to come. We went to Target and got the perfect Barbie kite, and she was all set.

Spring Break At Tyler Zoo

As most of you know, my kiddos LOVE animals! What better way to spend a beautiful day on Spring Break than a trip to Tyler Zoo. We had 4 moms, 11 kids, 3 SUVs, 2 wagons and 1 stroller. The weather was fantastic and we had a BLAST!                      Colton couldn’t leave the goats alone! 

A good nap is needed after a fun trip to the zoo : )

Happy Birthday Jenni

Raelee and Colton were invited to Jenni’s birthday at Build-A-Bear. Jenni is Raelee’s friend from school, but Colton LOVES her and her sister, Janie, so much…so he was so excited to tag along. The kids already have their share of BABs, so we brought ours from home, and just got new clothes and accessories. Raelee got a Butterfly Fairy with skates, and Colton got Woody from Toy Story. It was another beautiful day, and the kids had a blast! Colton bathed this poor puppy forever. I’m surprised it still had fur! It was all nice and clean and ready for “Colton Kisses” : ) Next, we headed to the Sonic patio for some yummy ice cream.  The beautiful birthday girl : )                Madelyn enjoying her ice cream! Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I took the kiddos to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on a whim. Good thing we didn’t make a big deal about it, because it only lasted about 5 minutes…lol. The kids had a blast, and didn’t know any different. The years before it was pretty long, but I guess our crazy weather lately, kept people from signing up. Oh well….we had fun and didn’t get pinched!  

After the parade, we met Grancee, Taylor, and Sidney at the Boardwalk. We all  rode the carousel and played in the arcade a while.

 

Raelee went home with Grancee for a sleepover, and me and Colt man had a snuggly night : )

Mom’s Night Out

It’s been a LONG time since all the girlfriends have gotten together, so what better time to start than now! We started our monthly “Mom’s Night Out” back up, and kicked it off at Monjuni’s. Way To Go Blue Diamonds!

We had our banquet for our Upward cheerleaders and basketball teams last night. I was soooo proud of my lil Blue Diamonds.They rocked the stage! The guy that did the entertainment travels all around the U.S., and he asked me for a copy of the video of their dance. He LOVED it and wants to put it on his website. (i’ll TRY to post it soon) I had such a great group of girls, and I can’t wait to do it again next year : )Raelee and Avery Raelee and Taylor

A Wee Bit Of Sunshine

We had a little tease of Spring this weekend, and what better time, than the start of baseball season. Brad was at work, so I took the kids out to see Dylan’s baseball game. Colton and Alyssa stay occupied with suckers : )

After the game, it was just too beautiful to go home, so the kiddos and I headed to the park. 

Last, but not least, we finished the day off with a trip to the ice cream store. Colton just wanted “Ba-lue”, and Raelee got “play-doh”.  Oh how I cherish fun days like this : )
