Big Boy Cut

My poor little man has been looking like a shaggy dog, but he is just terrible at getting his hair cut. It is something I always totally dread. Last week, I decided to switch it up and take him to Sports Clips. It's a place for men and boys, and it's a locker room theme with tvs in front of every chair. (boy did they get this concept right!) Colton walked in, and loved all of the sports stuff. We were the only ones there, so they turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and low and behold, he never moved an inch. He watched TV and got himself a Big Boy Do! Yay....I hope this trend continues : )

Dallas Trip - Part 3

Day 3, we woke up and got ready to head home. We stopped and grabbed a bite to eat, and hit the road. The kids fell asleep about 45mins into the trip, so Brad and I decided to surprise them. We woke them up and we were at the Tyler Zoo! Raelee was sooo excited. Raelee loves all of the wild animals, and Colton loves the aquarium. Mommy and RaeDaddy and Colt

Watching the turtles
Hot, and dripping with RED fruit juiceColton's favorite thing is the penguins. He was cracking up at them swimming back and forth in front of him. He could have watched that all day. I was thinking it wasn't such a bad idea, since it was freezing in there!Feeding the fish. Raelee was throwing it like a fast pitch softball.

We had a fantastic trip. Colton did really well, so hopefully daddy will let us go somewhere else soon ; ) It was a good trial trip, to see how a two year old would do, and how well he would sleep in the hotel. I love making sweet memories with the kids, and can't wait for our next adventure!

Dallas Trip - Part 2

The kids woke up ready for breakfast and to hit the road. This is what "free breakfast" looks like. The dads were still very much hungry, so we headed out, grabbed a bite, and went to the Dallas Children's Museum. It's in connection with Sci-Port. The kids had so much fun, and it was something nice to do inside.

He found him a tractor!Milking a cow....she looks like a pro.
"Calling all units"Firefighter Raelee to the rescueMommy is a great bubble blower : )
Digging for dinosaur bonesAfter the museum, the kids came back and rested, along with daddy, so Lisa and I went to a few stores. We then all headed out for a night at Dave and Buster's. The kids LOVED it. It' s food, fun, and video games. How much better can it get? The only problem is, Colton just wanted to play anything that had to do with balls!

Daddy trying to explain that we keep the balls in your own lane2 kids trying to help drive an 18-wheeler.

The kids where totally wiped out, and ready for bed....woohoo! Mission Accomplished : )

Dallas Trip - Part 1

I have been informed that I am WAY behind on my blogging. Sorry to all you grandmas, I've been super busy with real estate. Yay, for me....boohoo, for you! Anyway, we took the kids to Dallas last week with Lisa, Randall and Josh, and they had a blast. There are way too many fun things to post all at once, so we'll just go one day at a time. Hope you enjoy : )

Day 1: We checked into the hotel safely, after going through the worst storm EVER. By the time we unloaded, freshened up, and headed to the Dallas World Aquarium, it was a beautiful day!
Can't get enough of all the birds flying around
The most beautiful flamingosRaelee doing her "ningo" poseThey have a huge tunnel you walk through, and the sharks and fish are swimming all around. Colton absolutely LOVED this. This one looks like it's smiling at us : )
Me and my little love.Watching the penguins getting fed.

Daddy and his girl.Colton is amazed at the fish the same size as him.The first thing Raelee did in the hotel, was get a snack, and arrange all of her animals on the bed.The three stooges trying out the bed. Colton is as big as Raelee and Josh!

We let the kids rest a bit, then Brad and Randall headed to the Ranger's game, and Lisa and I took the kids to the Galleria. They had fun, but were ready to eat and getting tired, so we took them to the coolest McDonalds ever. It is shaped like a Happy Meal...HA! Are we not the best moms or what?

Day one was a success, and everyone had a great time. Check back tomorrow for Day two adventure!

A Birthday Blog For My "Little" Brother

My brother's birthday was last Sunday, so the family got together for food, and some swimming. I had to take Raelee to the doctor that morning, and she had a painful ear infection from swimming earlier that week. So needless to say, Brad stayed home with Rae, while Colton and I headed over for the fun. This week has been absolutely INSANE with real estate, so I haven't necessarily been in the "blogging" mood at night. So, here is my birthday blog for Kevin....better late than never! My "little" bro, Kevin, and his handsome son, Dylan. I say "little" bro, because even though he is younger, he's about 2 ft. taller! Family fun Smooches for Grandmother. He was giving her kisses, so she would paddle him out to the waterfall. The babies love the waterfall.....and, they LOVE watermelon. Only grandmother and pawpaw would let babies eat watermelon while on a float in the pool!
Kevin, I know I don't say it much, but I love you dearly. I am so proud of the man you have become. You are a wonderful daddy and uncle. Just a big kid at heart. My kids are very lucky to have you in their lives. You have had many bumps along the way, but your beautiful family is proof of your love and devotion. I know there are many great things for you ahead. I love you so much....your "older but shorter" sis : )

My Top Picks

So, not sure if many of you are fans of the show "The Bachelorette" like I am, but it is a must see. It's honestly a guilty pleasure. Some of these poor boys have some major issues, but they are just too funny to take your eye's off. Speaking of eyes....let's start with David. The guys gets so wasted and starts freaking out on every guy there. He looks alot like "The Rock", and his eyes just may bulge out of his head at any given moment. Then there is Tanner. He has a MAJOR foot fetish. All he talks about the entire show, is how he wants to kiss, suck, and lick Jullian's toes. Hello, I'm vegging out during the show, can we not make me hurl my junk food! Also, we have the pleasure of listen to an up and coming country singer from Texas, sing his song....over and over and over...... that he wrote for Jullian. Give this boy a record deal and move him along already. Last, let's discuss Juan. He a sweet gentleman that is always there for Jullian. Oh, how sweet. But, let's not look past the fact that he also always compliments her clothes, hair, jewelry, and make-up. Uh yeah....that's a little much. By compliment I mean, " oh you look fabulous, what designer is that you're wearing?" Brad just wants me to have clothes on when we leave, and do it fast! I believe Juan thought he was signing up for The Bachelor, not the Bachelorette.... and I don't mean to BE the Bachelor.
My top 2 favorites are ED and JAKE. They are both true gentlemen with J-O-B-S! Let's not look past the fact that they are HOT too. Jullian has some tough choices ahead, but I'll stand by on Monday nights....or whenever I get around to watching the DVR version.....and cheer my boys on : )
So who are your favorites?

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Being the humble real estate agent that I am, I would not brag that I sold a friend's house before even sticking the sign in the yard.Uh uh...NOT ME! That would be soooo tacky.

There is no way that I would put off cleaning my house, just so that it would not be ready to put on the market..... because I don't want to move. What? NOT ME! What kind of example would I be setting?

I, by no means, was about to loose it this week because it was the first week of summer, and BOTH of the kids decided to get sick. Nope....NOT ME! Ooohhhh, those poor little babies with an ear ache and stuffy nose : (

Also, I would not leave those sick babies home alone with daddy while I went to my office and just happen to stop in at the tanning bed to do a Mystic Tan. Absolutely.....NOT ME! Mommy must be home with sicklings at ALL times.

I hope none of you would have done any of these things this week either!
