Ellerbe Egg Hunt

This year was so much fun, because Colton was actually old enough to know what he was doing. We went to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Ellerbe Baptist, where Colton goes to Mothers-day-out. They have jumpies, face painting, arts & crafts, balloon animals, games, and top it off with a huge egg hunt! All of his little buddies were there, and they had so much fun. Raelee even got to see some of her old friends from Ellerbe too : )DSC02339 DSC02341 DSC02349                    Grancee holding back the cheater ; )DSC02352Grayson, Colton and WillDSC02353 DSC02358    DSC02361                        Raelee and Emie

An Egg-cellent Egg Hunt

Raelee’s school egg hunt was too cute. Mrs. Burton painted them with little pink noses and whiskers, and they made bunny ear hats. They looked adorable! She had a very great idea that I think we are going to start using with all the cousins. Each kid brought 8 filled eggs. Each kid had to find an egg with their first name, last name, an A, B, C, and a 1, 2, 3. So, each kid ended up with 8 eggs. It was so much more fun, and it took longer instead of them just running out there and finding the first 8 eggs they saw. DSC02328 DSC02329 DSC02331 DSC02333 DSC02334DSC02336 DSC02337

Kite Day

Raelee was so excited about Kite Day at school, but even MORE excited that DADDY was going to come. We went to Target and got the perfect Barbie kite, and she was all set.DSC02296 DSC02299 DSC02301 DSC02314 DSC02303DSC02319

Spring Break At Tyler Zoo

As most of you know, my kiddos LOVE animals! What better way to spend a beautiful day on Spring Break than a trip to Tyler Zoo. We had 4 moms, 11 kids, 3 SUVs, 2 wagons and 1 stroller. The weather was fantastic and we had a BLAST!DSC02199DSC02202                      Colton couldn’t leave the goats alone!DSC02204  DSC02209

Happy Birthday Jenni

Raelee and Colton were invited to Jenni’s birthday at Build-A-Bear. Jenni is Raelee’s friend from school, but Colton LOVES her and her sister, Janie, so much…so he was so excited to tag along. The kids already have their share of BABs, so we brought ours from home, and just got new clothes and accessories. Raelee got a Butterfly Fairy with skates, and Colton got Woody from Toy Story. It was another beautiful day, and the kids had a blast!DSC02151 DSC02152 Colton bathed this poor puppy forever. I’m surprised it still had fur! It was all nice and clean and ready for “Colton Kisses” : )DSC02160 Next, we headed to the Sonic patio for some yummy ice cream.  DSC02163The beautiful birthday girl : )DSC02162                Madelyn enjoying her ice cream!DSC02164 Yummy!DSC02168   DSC02166 Happy 6th Birthday Jenni Beth : )

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

I took the kiddos to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on a whim. Good thing we didn’t make a big deal about it, because it only lasted about 5 minutes…lol. The kids had a blast, and didn’t know any different. The years before it was pretty long, but I guess our crazy weather lately, kept people from signing up. Oh well….we had fun and didn’t get pinched! DSC02119  DSC02121DSC02123

After the parade, we met Grancee, Taylor, and Sidney at the Boardwalk. We all  rode the carousel and played in the arcade a while.

Mom’s Night Out

It’s been a LONG time since all the girlfriends have gotten together, so what better time to start than now! We started our monthly “Mom’s Night Out” back up, and kicked it off at Monjuni’s. It was so good to catch up with those that I haven’t seen in a while. Can’t wait til next month!DSC02102Brooke, Cassie, Me, Lisa, and TonyaDSC02100 Laura and BrandyDSC02103
