We went to the Boardwalk this evening with Grandmother and Pawpaw, and Kevin, Alisha, Alyssa and Dylan met us there. We had our first Santa sighting at the Bass Pro Shop, and the kids got to do all kinds of fun things in the Santa Workshop. Next we walked over to Joe’s Crab Shack and the girls entertained us with dancing while we waited on our food. They had so much fun. That has to be the best place to take kids to eat…hands down! Everyone buckle down…..the holidays are right around the corner! Raelee told him she wanted an American Girl Doll, and Colton wants TRAINS!!!!

End Of The Season
Today was Raelee’s last soccer game. It was FREEZING. It’s crazy how we start the season dying of heat, then finish it out in the cold. After the game, we went to CiCi’s Pizza and the kids got their trophy and medal. Raelee was SO Excited!

Girl Scout Trip To The Fire Station
Raelee’s girl scout troop went next door to visit the fire station, and earn their badge. The guys showed them around, let them climb through the truck and ambulance, and let them squirt the water. The girl’s had a blast and giggled the whole time.

Grandparent’s Day
Raelee had Grandparent’s Day at school. She was so excited that both Grandmother, and Grancee were getting to come. They also had the book fair going on, so they each took her and she got to pick out books. I was the committee head over Grandparent’s day, so I didn’t get to visit with them much…..but they all seemed to have a great time. Raelee gave them each a flower and drew a picture for them.

We Lost Our First Tooth!
Yesterday evening after school, Raelee lost her first tooth. She was so excited and could not wait to see what the tooth fairy brought. She ended up with $5. She has several more that are getting loose too. She is going to break us with straight A’s and missing teeth!

Honors Ceremony
I am SOOO proud of Raelee! She made the “Straight A” honor roll, the “Principle’s List”, and “Straight A Conduct”. She is doing so good in school, and really loves her teacher. We have had a wonderful year so far.

Happy Halloween
This year I let the kids totally pick their own costumes…..I didn’t try to match them like I REALLY wanted to do. Raelee was Rapunzel (from the new movie Tangled) and Colton was Mario. They were so cute, and Colton loved wearing his Mario mustache. It was too funny! Grandmother, Pawpaw, Mimi, Kevin, Alisha and Alyssa all came over and we had fun getting lots of candy and eating some of Brad’s good homemade chili.
Alyssa was the only one that truly appreciated my Dora costume…lol She kept calling me “Dora” all night : )

A Day At The Park
We took the kids to the park yesterday because it was just a perfect fall day. Not to mention, they desperately needed to burn off some energy : )

Tricks & Treats
Brad and I went to a friend’s Halloween Party. This is an all out dress up party. We had so much fun and laughed so hard at all the costumes, and how creative some people really get. Brad and I couldn’t decide on anything together, so he went as Maverick from Top Gun, and I went as Dora The Explorer.
