I’ve Been A Good Girl

My sweet husband bought me this beautiful new (well, new to me) SUV. It’s a Chrysler Aspen, and I absolutely LOVE it! It does everything you can image from, tell you where to go, open up the tail gate for you, dials your phone, opens the ceiling, seats 7 people, to heating your hiney…..plus much more. I am so super excited!DSC03512 DSC03518 DSC03513 DSC03516 DSC03515

Happy Birthday Madelyn

Raelee got to go to, yet another, Build-A-Bear birthday party. It was her friend, Madelyn’s 6th birthday. These girls LOVE B.A.B and have so much fun shopping and picking out clothes. Raelee finally got the white pony she has been eyeing for months!DSC03492 DSC03495 DSC03499 DSC03502 Raelee & Madelyn…aka “The Birthday Girl”DSC03503

Then it was down to Cold Stone Creamery for some red velvet ice cream cupcakes…yummy! Raelee and Molly loved the fact that they got to use an umbrella. It was a yucky day. DSC03507DSC03506 Happy Birthday Madelyn Grace!

Wrapping Up The Season

Raelee’s t-ball season has come to an end. We finished it out with a swim/pizza party. They got to swim for about 30mins, then a roll of thunder came and it started raining. They still had fun with pizza, cookies, and getting their medals and trophies. Thanks Mrs. Toni and Coach Mike!DSC03470 Raelee jumped off of the diving board and LOVED it!DSC03471 DSC03472 DSC03486 DSC03480 DSC03481 DSC03484 Way to go Express!

Part 2….

Monday, July 5th was really our “4th”. We spent the day with family and friends swimming at Grandmother and Pawpaw’s. Dad cooked hot dogs and sausage, and the weather was great!

DSC03445 DSC03446 DSC03447 Brad got home from the station, and we headed to the Johnson’s. My father-n-law grilled and bought out the fireworks stand! All the older cousins (and Brad and Scott) popped them, while the littles hid inside with Grancee : )DSC03449 DSC03454 DSC03456 DSC03461 Time to wake up Southern Trace! DSC03467 Run Boys…LOLDSC03469

Hope everyone had a very happy 4th!

Family, Friends, Food, Fun and Fireworks!

That’s how we spent our 4th of July weekend! Friday the 2nd, we went swimming for a while with Grandmother & Pawpaw. We had a yummy dinner at Trejos, then headed to Ellerbe Baptist to watch the amazing firework show.DSC03359 DSC03364 DSC03365DSC03362Colton was fine with the music, but once the fireworks started…..he wanted as far away as possible! Him and I moved WAY back and he fell asleep in my arms : )

Sunday, July 4th….Brad cooked us burgers and we watched the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest…LOL! He left to go to the fire station, so I took the kids outside to try out Colton’s new Buzz Lightyear sprinker. They LOVED it!

DSC03373 DSC03380 DSC03382 DSC03371DSC03386 DSC03385 DSC03393 DSC03394DSC03434That evening we watched (from inside) tons of fireworks around the neighborhood :)

Play Date At Sci-Port

We called up Carrie, Molly and Murphy on a whim and headed to Sci-Port to burn some summer energy. It has been SO incredibly hot, so indoor activities are becoming a must at certain parts of the day. Molly and Raelee have never really played together, but you would have thought they were best friends. They instantly became chatty little girls, with LOTS to talk about. Colton and Murphy were busy little bees and kept us on our toes. They were so funny talking on the phones to their mommies in the playhouse : )DSC03318 DSC03324 DSC03326 DSC03327 DSC03329 DSC03330 DSC03333 DSC03337 DSC03339 DSC03342 DSC03351 DSC03356 It’s not fun trying to talk 4 sleeping kids into leaving : (DSC03358 Beautiful Girls!

The kids had a blast and got to burn some of that energy. Mom and dad are members, so it’s great for us to just go spend a couple of hours for some fun : ) Thanks Wilson Family….We had a great time!
