Part 2….

Monday, July 5th was really our “4th”. We spent the day with family and friends swimming at Grandmother and Pawpaw’s. Dad cooked hot dogs and sausage, and the weather was great!

DSC03445 DSC03446 DSC03447 Brad got home from the station, and we headed to the Johnson’s. My father-n-law grilled and bought out the fireworks stand! All the older cousins (and Brad and Scott) popped them, while the littles hid inside with Grancee : )DSC03449 DSC03454 DSC03456 DSC03461 Time to wake up Southern Trace! DSC03467 Run Boys…LOLDSC03469

Hope everyone had a very happy 4th!

Family, Friends, Food, Fun and Fireworks!

That’s how we spent our 4th of July weekend! Friday the 2nd, we went swimming for a while with Grandmother & Pawpaw. We had a yummy dinner at Trejos, then headed to Ellerbe Baptist to watch the amazing firework show.DSC03359 DSC03364 DSC03365DSC03362Colton was fine with the music, but once the fireworks started…..he wanted as far away as possible! Him and I moved WAY back and he fell asleep in my arms : )

Sunday, July 4th….Brad cooked us burgers and we watched the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest…LOL! He left to go to the fire station, so I took the kids outside to try out Colton’s new Buzz Lightyear sprinker. They LOVED it!

Play Date At Sci-Port

We called up Carrie, Molly and Murphy on a whim and headed to Sci-Port to burn some summer energy. It has been SO incredibly hot, so indoor activities are becoming a must at certain parts of the day. Molly and Raelee have never really played together, but you would have thought they were best friends. They instantly became chatty little girls, with LOTS to talk about. Colton and Murphy were busy little bees and kept us on our toes. They were so funny talking on the phones to their mommies in the playhouse : )DSC03318 DSC03324 DSC03326 DSC03327 DSC03329 DSC03330 DSC03333 DSC03337 DSC03339 DSC03342 DSC03351 DSC03356 It’s not fun trying to talk 4 sleeping kids into leaving : (DSC03358 Beautiful Girls!

The kids had a blast and got to burn some of that energy. Mom and dad are members, so it’s great for us to just go spend a couple of hours for some fun : ) Thanks Wilson Family….We had a great time!

Totally Toy Story

Colton had a Toy Story birthday party this year. How appropriate, since it came out the week before his party. It made it very easy to find stuff with all the Toy Story mania everywhere! We had a fantastic time with friends and family. The weather was beautiful and Colton had a blast. He was so excited to see his friends that he has not seen since school’s been out. They jumped on the jumpy, played in the sand, got Toy Story tattoos, and had “Slinky Dogs” and cookie cake. It was a wonderful day : )DSC03276 DSC03278 Anderson, Alyssa, Colton and WillDSC03279DSC03280 DSC03283 Emie, Raelee and Taylor DSC03287 DSC03288 DSC03289DSC03295 DSC03296  DSC03301 DSC03302 DSC03303 Mom, Mamaw and Mrs. PamDSC03306 DSC03308 The Loot : )

Happy 3rd Birthday My Angel

DSC03312 DSC03313 Where do I even begin. Colton was the last little piece to complete our family 3 years ago. He is so loving and full of life. He is full throttle and full of energy ALL day, then in a blink, he can crash. He has turned very silly and loves telling jokes and making silly faces. He likes Toy Story and is still fascinated with trains. He usually has a train of some sort in his hands at all times. He loves his big sister, and will let her teach him all day. (and she loves having a little student!) Sometimes he thinks he is as old as her, just because he is as big…lol  He likes to test her, and knows exactly how to push her buttons. Hmmm….sounds like another little brother that I know ; )

He is definitely a momma’s boy, and momma don’t mind ; ) I love to snuggle with him and watch him sleep. He has grown so fast this past year, and my baby is now a boy. He will now go with anyone anywhere, and likes to take adventures with daddy. He is an outdoor boy for sure!

Colton, I love you so much and you melt my heart with those big brown eyes and pouty lips. I want to hold you in my arms forever. Thank you for all of the “ I love you” hugs that you give me during the day. You are mommy’s baby boy and hope you have a wonderful birthday. Happy 3rd Birthday Colt Man…..I love you!
