Painting With A Twist

Tonight was “Mommy’s Night” with the girls. We had a private party at Painting With A Twist. It’s a fun place to paint, drink wine, and hang with your chicas. Now, I can not even draw a straight line, so I had NO idea what to expect. It was so much fun and I can’t wait to go back! We painted a beautiful Black Dress, and it was really cool to see all the different versions.DSC02552  DSC02555 DSC02557DSC02561 Viola!DSC02558 DSC02567

Easter With All The Cousins

After a morning of digging through the Easter baskets, we all got ready in our Sunday Best, and headed to church. Don’t ask me how I did it, BUT I got all of us fed, dressed, and out the door in time. After a wonderful service at SCC, our first stop was Grandmother and Pawpaw’s. The kids all hunted Easter eggs and got lots of candy and money. We had a wonderful Ham for lunch and enjoyed some great company.DSC02418                           Brad was at the fire stationDSC02429                          Pawpaw and Uncle Kevin looked like twins…lolDSC02430DSC02452       DSC02443                   DSC02428    Thank you Grandmother and Pawpaw for the sweet Easter gifts!

Next, we headed home, got a quick nap, grabbed daddy, then headed to Grancee and Pappy’s. It was so nice outside, so the kids got to enjoy the swing.DSC02460 They had so much fun until…..DSC02470 …Uncle Scott surprised Raelee with a REAL frog in a plastic egg!DSC02472                        He got her pretty good, but she forgave him : )DSC02476 ALL of the Johnson GrandkidsDSC02482 checking out the lootDSC02481 Aunt Stacie and HunterDSC02488 Poor Hunter, the girls just use him as a pillow

The kids had such a good day, and it was a wonderful Easter. We are so blessed to have 2 families to share the holidays with.

Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny stopped by our house, and he did not disappoint! The kids were so excited to wake up to fun filled baskets with all their favorite things. I think it was because they left him a plate full of baby carrots and water : )

Ellerbe Egg Hunt

This year was so much fun, because Colton was actually old enough to know what he was doing. We went to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Ellerbe Baptist, where Colton goes to Mothers-day-out. They have jumpies, face painting, arts & crafts, balloon animals, games, and top it off with a huge egg hunt! All of his little buddies were there, and they had so much fun. Raelee even got to see some of her old friends from Ellerbe too : )DSC02339 DSC02341 DSC02349                    Grancee holding back the cheater ; )DSC02352Grayson, Colton and WillDSC02353 DSC02358    DSC02361                        Raelee and Emie

An Egg-cellent Egg Hunt

Raelee’s school egg hunt was too cute. Mrs. Burton painted them with little pink noses and whiskers, and they made bunny ear hats. They looked adorable! She had a very great idea that I think we are going to start using with all the cousins. Each kid brought 8 filled eggs. Each kid had to find an egg with their first name, last name, an A, B, C, and a 1, 2, 3. So, each kid ended up with 8 eggs. It was so much more fun, and it took longer instead of them just running out there and finding the first 8 eggs they saw. DSC02328 DSC02329 DSC02331 DSC02333 DSC02334DSC02336 DSC02337
