Super Saturday - Part 2

After the soccer game, we all headed to the Provenance neighborhood for their annual Fall Carnival. We got there close to the end, so a lot of the things were gone, but the kids still had fun. I had a smudge right over Colton's face : (Does it get much cuter?
The kids all decorated a pumpkin for Grandmother and PawPaw's houseLOTS of glitter and glue was involvedAfter the carnival, we headed back to mom and dad's and just let the cousins play. They had so much fun spending the day together. They love each other so much and play so well together. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family : )

Super Saturday - Part 1

Saturday was a great family fun day. We woke up to a very chilly and windy morning. Raelee had a soccer game at noon, and had lots of fans. Grandmother, PawPaw, Aunt Alisha, Uncle Kevin, Dylan, Alyssa, and of course....Roxie.... all came to the game. She was super excited. It wasn't our best of games, but the kids all had a great time. Ready to rollDreaming of one day being able to cross the "white line"The Awesome Foursome

Ring around the rosies.........we all fall down

Colton is trying to figure out how to get in on the snacks : )

Johnson Family Reunion

Saturday was the Johnson Family Reunion. Brad's grandmother had 5 sisters, so it was all of the families from the 6 sisters, of which 3 are still living. All of Brad's Meme's family had to wear green. I had my new camera, but had it set on something crazy, so the pictures are terrible....but, here is a peek.

Colton discovered that Hunter was tall enough to help him shoot.
Poor Hunter......all the kids wanted him at once.Me and my two besties....Stacie and Lisa. We all married these crazy Johnson boys!
The Johnson boys.... Scott, Colton, Brad, Mike, Hunter and John Michael

The "Green" Group

And The Student Of The Week Is........

RAELEE!

Yes, Raelee was named "Student of the Week" this week, and got to bring home the class mascot, Croaker. She could not get to the car fast enough when I picked her up from school, because she was so super duper excited to tell us. As student of the week, she had to take Croaker around with her all weekend and document everything they did together. Also, she gets to sleep in the loft during nap time, and bring a stuffed animal. So without further ado.....here is her weekend with Croaker! First, Croaker joined us Saturday afternoon for the Johnson Family Reunion. He got to meet all the Johnson cousins.
Next, he got ready for the LSU vs FLORIDA game and a sleep over at Grancee and Pappy's. Everyone loved his LSU shirt.
Sunday afternoon, we stopped by to see everyone at TGIFriday's. Croaker snuck in a few french fries.
Roxie loved Croaker too. She made a new friend.
Finally, Sunday evening, Croaker joined Raelee at AWANA at church. All the kids were so happy she brought him along. A couple of them were in her class and were glad to see Croaker on the weekend.

Croaker and Raelee were off to bed after completing their homework assignment.

Raelee, we are soooo proud of you for doing so great in school. I am so happy that you love it, and have made many new friends. You are such a special little girl and I know that you will do wonderful things in the years to come. I love ya....I love ya...uh huh...uh huh...uh huh!!!

Happy Anniversary Brad AND Happy Birthday Dad

October 6th is a very special day for me. I get to celebrate my marriage to my wonderful husband and my amazing daddy's birthday. This year was no exception. We gathered up the adult family members and had a fantastic dinner at Outback Steakhouse. We love all those little kiddos, BUT it sure was nice to sit down, and enjoy a nice meal while it was still hot and not have to entertain all throughout the appetizers! I love these two men so much, and I hope you had a wonderful day. I sure did! Brad surprised me with a new camera, so the next day while the kids were playing outside, I tried it out. I still have to figure out all of the settings, but here are just a few we took while playing.

Azaleas

I have amazing Azaleas that bloom at different times of the year....Encore Azaleas. They bloom in the dead heat of summer and even in the middle of winter. It's totally nuts! They have loved all of the rain we have gotten here lately : )
