Happy Thanksgiving

I am so thankful to not only have an amazing family, but also to have them near. My life would not be the same without parents, grandparents, and in-laws all so close to help with everyday life. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with a great group. We missed those of you this year that traveled, but are so glad you got to do so. We first had lunch at my parents, a nap for the kiddos, then on to Brad's family for dinner. Here is what Thanksgiving day with the Johnsons is like:

Fall Break Fun

While the kids were on Thanksgiving break this week, Brad and I took them to Sci-Port. We went to see the IMAX movie, Santa and the Snowman, and played a bit. The kids LOVED the huge Imax theater. We only stayed for about 20mins, because mommy was getting a wee bit nauseous, and of course Raelee had to potty. Once out...no coming back in. We have free tickets, so it's fun just to go and get a feel. (and trust me, a few minutes is more than enough to last until we come back again!) We then explored Sci-Port for the bazillionth time. The kids love it just like it's the first....and that's all that matter : )
Bye Mr.Turtle.....we'll see you next time : )

Soccer Comes To An End

Fall soccer is finally over. We had a few make up games, so it took us a few weeks longer than expected. Raelee absolutely LOVES soccer, and she is darn good at it too. The other team didn't show for the last game, so our team played each other. Colton had fun running around and being bribed with suckers. He can't wait to actually be "on" the field next year.

A Kindergarten Feast

Raelee had her Thanksgiving Feast and Play at school this week. It was cute to see her dressed up as a little Indian Girl. She was so proud to show me her shirt, hat, and place mat she made for the feast. I love that I am able to attend all of these special times for her, and I LOVE seeing the glow on her face while I am there.

I Am Thankful For.....

They both had Indian names at school.

A Bit Behind

It has been a bit crazy in the Johnson household, to say the least. We have been living out of boxes, waiting to close on our house for the last few weeks, and FINALLY did. We are living in a rent house and started construction on our new house. The kids love the temporary house, and have had no problems adjusting. It's pretty nice being smack dab in the middle of town again. I can be at Target in no time!
Raelee just had her first "friend" sleepover with her friend Emmie. She had an absolute blast. They have missed each other since they are at different schools.
Colton is doing so good at MDO. He loves his class and his sweet teachers.
We just finished up soccer season and we are heading into Cheerleading...woohoo! I'm excited to help coach Raelee's squad and hopes she loves it as much as I do : )
We have just been truly blessed and thankful for everything that has fallen in place lately. Real Estate has been wonderful to me, and I have a brand new subdivision that I am marketing myself. Everyone is healthy and life is good!

Now to get back on track with the blogging world : )

50's Day

Raelee had a Sock Hop to celebrate the 5oth day of school. The kids dressed up in their 5o's gear, danced to some jiving music and had an ice cream social. They were out the Friday before because of the flooding everywhere, so they also made up their Halloween party. It was a busy, but super fun day!

A Very Happy Halloween

This Halloween was super fun, because the "littles" were now "big" enough to join in on the fun...and Oh Boy....did they have it down pat! We all gathered in Mom and Dad's neighborhood, for chili dogs, roasted marshmallows, and lots of trick-or-treating.
