Perfect Pizza Party

Saturday evening we had Colton a pizza party at Mr.Gatti's in Bossier with the family. It is like a mini, but cleaner, version of Chuck E. Cheese. The kids love pizza and games, so you can't go wrong. Thanks to all the family for coming and sharing the fun. We missed you Dylan, and we are so proud of you for making the All-Star team! Also, a special thanks to Mrs. "Aunt" Pam, for making the most delicious and cutest Thomas the Train cake : )

Sissy hit the jackpot. Little does she know, 250 tickets will only get her a pencil.....not the huge stuffed animal on the wall.

We had so much fun, and I just can't believe my little man is already Two. We love you so much Colton, and are so proud to be your mommy and daddy!

Happy Birthday Baby Boy

Two years ago today, my sweet baby Colton was born. He has completed our family, and changed my life like I never thought possible. Everyone warned me about those big brown eyes staring at me and asking "mommy... pweez". He melts my heart. He has incredible love for his big sister and follows her around ALL day. He is starting to copy her a little too much. Daddy is getting concerned with all the dress up and dancing in high heels...HA! He is definitely my little climber, and can get to anything he sets his mind to. With a mind of his own, and his innocent grin, this monkey knows TROUBLE. He is daddy's little ball player, mommy's little cuddle buddy and Raelee's bubby. We love you so much Colton, and wish you a wonderful 2nd birthday!

We woke up this morning, had "birthday" pancakes, then took the kids to Sci-port. Here are a few pics of the birthday boy's day.
Up, up, and away
He can find a ball anywhere we goRaelee's dance moves are priceless
This evening we decided to go ahead, and let him open a present from us. I didn't even have it wrapped yet, but he didn't mind. He got a new train, and a Thomas the Train toy. He LOVED it, and played with it the rest of the night. He is really into "choo choos" right now....and anything else with wheels!

Happy Fathers Day

I am truly a very lucky girl. I have an amazing dad, an awesome husband, and a wonderful father-n-law. We were fortunate to celebrate each one of these special men Sunday. First, we celebrated my dad. All of the family came over (minus Brad, he was at work), and had lots of yummy food, and let the kids swim. I have the most wonderful dad, father, and best friend. He is the definition of the word "perfect father". I love you so much daddy!

Brad got home later that afternoon, and the kids were excited to give him his presents. I am so fortunate to have such a loving husband that loves my kids unconditionally. They adore their daddy so much, and there is nothing greater than to see their faces when he comes home from work. We love you daddy and hope you had a wonderful Father's Day!

We all took power naps, then headed to the Johnson side for dinner.

Big Boy Cut

My poor little man has been looking like a shaggy dog, but he is just terrible at getting his hair cut. It is something I always totally dread. Last week, I decided to switch it up and take him to Sports Clips. It's a place for men and boys, and it's a locker room theme with tvs in front of every chair. (boy did they get this concept right!) Colton walked in, and loved all of the sports stuff. We were the only ones there, so they turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and low and behold, he never moved an inch. He watched TV and got himself a Big Boy Do! Yay....I hope this trend continues : )

Dallas Trip - Part 3

Day 3, we woke up and got ready to head home. We stopped and grabbed a bite to eat, and hit the road. The kids fell asleep about 45mins into the trip, so Brad and I decided to surprise them. We woke them up and we were at the Tyler Zoo! Raelee was sooo excited. Raelee loves all of the wild animals, and Colton loves the aquarium. Mommy and RaeDaddy and Colt

Watching the turtles
Hot, and dripping with RED fruit juiceColton's favorite thing is the penguins. He was cracking up at them swimming back and forth in front of him. He could have watched that all day. I was thinking it wasn't such a bad idea, since it was freezing in there!Feeding the fish. Raelee was throwing it like a fast pitch softball.

We had a fantastic trip. Colton did really well, so hopefully daddy will let us go somewhere else soon ; ) It was a good trial trip, to see how a two year old would do, and how well he would sleep in the hotel. I love making sweet memories with the kids, and can't wait for our next adventure!

Dallas Trip - Part 2

The kids woke up ready for breakfast and to hit the road. This is what "free breakfast" looks like. The dads were still very much hungry, so we headed out, grabbed a bite, and went to the Dallas Children's Museum. It's in connection with Sci-Port. The kids had so much fun, and it was something nice to do inside.

He found him a tractor!Milking a cow....she looks like a pro.

Digging for dinosaur bonesAfter the museum, the kids came back and rested, along with daddy, so Lisa and I went to a few stores. We then all headed out for a night at Dave and Buster's. The kids LOVED it. It' s food, fun, and video games. How much better can it get? The only problem is, Colton just wanted to play anything that had to do with balls!

Daddy trying to explain that we keep the balls in your own lane2 kids trying to help drive an 18-wheeler.

The kids where totally wiped out, and ready for bed....woohoo! Mission Accomplished : )
